That CPAC rap thing…

Saturday, February 11th, 2012

No, I’m not posting that racist piece of shit here. Those two dopey assholes yelling the N word to the only black person in the room who was walking out in disgust…just the beginning folks. By the end of the election the Republicans will probably start showing up in KKK regalia. Just a matter of time now before Romney, Gingrich, Santorum or one of their acolytes will use the N word in regards to the President. And their goose will be well and truly cooked. It’s only going to be a matter of by how big of a margin the President will be re-elected-it’s like my sister says, they do NOT know who they are dealing with.

We have to CRUSH these motherfuckers…

Sunday, February 5th, 2012

Fuck being polite-this is WAR. If we do not re-elect the President by a landslide, this behavior will spread across the country. I don’t know about you, but if I were a gay or lesbian kid in this particular shithole I’d start packing heat. No, I’m not kidding-I’m so pissed I could spit nails. This is from Rolling Stone about Michelle Bachmann’s district in Minnesota where they are trying to kill gay and lesbian kids-and succeeding:
Motherfucking assholes. No other word for these people.

It’s starting to change. That’s the good news. People are starting to wake up. And not too late, either. It’s just in fucking time.

Iceberg? What iceberg?

Wednesday, February 1st, 2012

I swear-watching the GOP primary itself to death is a lot like watching the captain steering the Titanic before they hit that iceberg. I’ve never seen so many people so much in denial over just how fucked they are come November. Between Mitt “I’m not concerned about the very poor” Romney and Newt “The moon will be the 51st state in the Union” Gingrich, this is really shaping up to be a HUGE landslide for President Obama in November. Do you think for one minute that anyone posessing a functioning brain-including Republicans-would vote for EITHER of those two? I have much more faith in the voting public than THAT. Cue Celine Dion. THAT is how done the GOP is.

Allen West is a P*SSY!

Wednesday, February 1st, 2012

Mr. Tough guy, eh?

Yeah, Allen West is a real tough guy, alright. When he found out he had not one Democratic challenger for his seat but TWO-he fled to another district. And this is the guy who said that liberals should “get the hell out of America”? Oh, yeah-he can talk real tough, but when he knows he’s about to get his ass whooped, he flees. Typical Teatard. I’m really looking forward to the ass whooping the TP will get in November. House, Senate AND that “horrible Black Guy” WILL get re-elected. Can we then kick their reactionary asses? Naah. They’d like that-it pumps up their martyr complex.

Fuck Mondale-who’s GOLDWATER IN 1964?

Tuesday, January 24th, 2012

THIS is why GOP assholes in Arkansas pulled that shit-they know they’re fucked!

And the road to the CRUSHING landslide that will make LBJ’s ass-whooping of Goldwater look like two kids playing pattycake has begun. Bullies resort to violent acts only when they know they’re on the losing side of things-and the GOP is on the losing side of an avalanche. And it’s only going to get WORSE. When Stephen Colbert is more of a threat to the President than either Romney or Gingrich, that’s really, really SAD. Like I said, if the GOP keeps going like this (Gingrich’s latest comment? Spanish is the language of the ghetto.) banging on the racist, sexist, homophobic drum, they will get their asses whooped in such a way that NOBODY will be able to admit they are a Republican ever again.

And now you know why I thank Goddess every day that my grandparents had the good sense to get out of Arkansas!

Angry Black Lady has the details…Fucking redneck assholes!

I’m spitting nails right now. How fucking DARE these fucking cowards do this to a defenseless animal?! Who happened to be owned by a Democrat? If I was Ken Aiden, I’d pay for some time on local TV, bring my shotgun, and say this: “Yes, I’m a Democrat. Yes, I’m a liberal. But if you cowards who did this had any balls, you would have come after ME, not the cat owned by my daughter. I’m warning you: ANYBODY that comes on my property again and tries to lay hands on me, my wife and any member of my family-INCLUDING ANIMALS-will get the barrel of this fucking shotgun in their face, and don’t think I won’t pull the fucking trigger. I WILL. And no jury will convict me.” He’d probably win the election in a landslide-Southerners like that. Someone who’ll stand up to assholes who want to hurt people just because they disagree with them.
No reason to get violent, understand-but just showing that shotgun will scare those ball-less assholes enough to where they won’t touch anything he owns again. THAT is how you deal with bullies like this.

This is HOW BAD the GOP primary really is….

Monday, January 23rd, 2012

This guy is saying up front even though he’s a member of the super-wackadoo Westboro Baptist Church (they of the “God Hates Fags” sign) he’s voting for Obama. Yes. The GOP is so bad that even Fred Phelps and his inbred church are considering casting a vote for a guy who has been the best President for LGBT rights ever. OK, this is really funny. Here’s that part of the interview from Huffpoach, done by Reggie Cameron:

What are your thoughts about Newt Gingrich winning the South Carolina primary?

He’s a liar, thief, and adulterer… that’s Newt Gingrich, the so-called “champion” of the conservative party.

So Newt doesn’t have your vote for president. What about the other Christians who are running for the nomination?

These people claim to be Christian, New Gingrich and Mitt Romney and some of them others. They aren’t pure followers of Jesus Christ. I wouldn’t trust [any] of them with a handful of change to go get me some bubble gum. There’s nothing of any value in [any] of those human beings. I would rather have Obama…

Really? Obama has stood in support of the LGBTQ community.

Compared to these people who claim to be Christian, I’d go with Obama.

OK, now it’s becoming more and more obvious just what a bunch of losers the GOP has got. When the nutbars from the Westboro Baptist Church admit that Mittens, Newt and company are a bunch of assholes and they’re voting for Obama, that’s REALLY sad.

So, Newt won South Carolina…And the rest of the Republican party is not happy.

Sunday, January 22nd, 2012

I’m sure the big money men who actually run the GOP are shitting their pants in fear that Newt Gingrich will actually get the Republican nomination. There’s a poll on Talking Points Memo that shows that Newt’s hated by 58.6% of Americans and liked by only 26.5. Can you see why the REAL leaders of the GOP are shitting their pants? They know goddamn good and well that if Newt gets the nomination, Obama will kick Newt’s ass from one end of the country to the other. I mean, the landslide’s going to be bad enough with Romney, but with Gingrich, it’ll be even WORSE, if that’s possible. To quote Barney Frank, “I haven’t lived a good enough life to see Newt Gingrich as the Republican nominee!”
Chances are this is a hiccup, and Romney will regain his mojo, but if the GOP primary race ends up being like the Democratic primaries in 2008, the President will have an even greater chance of re-election. Here’s what I think will happen; in spite of the defeats by Santorum and Gingrich, Romney will end up with the nomination, mainly because a lot of the more liberal Republican states have their primaries before the convention, and because they’re going to do to Romney what they did to McCain in 2008-just give him the nod. That will piss off the Religious Wrong and the Teatards-and either Santorum, Gingrich, Palin or Trump will magically appear to accept the Tea Party nomination for President. Also, Ron Paul is going to run as an Independent as he’s done since 2004. That means the Republican vote won’t just be divided two ways-it’ll be divided THREE ways. Also, I suspect the Religious Wrong voters will either vote for the Tea Party ticket, Ron Paul or just stay home-they will NOT vote for a Mormon for President.
In other words, the person who’s won the Republican Primaries IS President Obama.

The “good old days” can go to hell.

Tuesday, January 17th, 2012

I sometimes wonder if the Republican Party has become the receding roar of white America as it pines for a way of life that will never return.

Nostalgia is nice as far as it goes, but it’s no way to run a country. In fact, nostalgia for a “simpler time” when “values meant something” is a GREAT way to start a shooting civil war. Just ask the Confederates.
Since the ’70′s I’ve heard the same old tired refrain from old white Republican guys: “It’s time to take this country back to when men were men, women were women-and if they weren’t, we raped and beat them until they WERE, fa**ots were in the closet-and if they even thought about getting out, we’d beat them to death, n***rs were lynched if they dared step out of line and WE RULED. WITH AN IRON FIST. We white men stomped out ANY AND ALL rebellion from these so-called “minorities”. And God told us to do it.” Now, the old white Republican guys dared not put it THAT way, but when they talk about “taking America back” that’s EXACTLY WHAT THEY MEAN. Oh, they can put all the flowery scented bullshit on it they want, but that’s exactly what happened in “the good old days”. Hamden Rice recently put it this way in an incredibly good diary (a rarity these days) on Daily Kos last year:

So anyway, I was having this argument with my father about Martin Luther King and how his message was too conservative compared to Malcolm X’s message. My father got really angry at me. It wasn’t that he disliked Malcolm X, but his point was that Malcolm X hadn’t accomplished anything as Dr. King had.

I was kind of sarcastic and asked something like, so what did Martin Luther King accomplish other than giving his “I have a dream speech.”

Before I tell you what my father told me, I want to digress. Because at this point in our amnesiac national existence, my question pretty much reflects the national civic religion view of what Dr. King accomplished. He gave this great speech. Or some people say, “he marched.” I was so angry at Mrs. Clinton during the primaries when she said that Dr. King marched, but it was LBJ who delivered the Civil Rights Act.

At this point, I would like to remind everyone exactly what Martin Luther King did, and it wasn’t that he “marched” or gave a great speech.

My father told me with a sort of cold fury, “Dr. King ended the terror of living in the south.”

Please let this sink in and and take my word and the word of my late father on this. If you are a white person who has always lived in the U.S. and never under a brutal dictatorship, you probably don’t know what my father was talking about.

But this is what the great Dr. Martin Luther King accomplished. Not that he marched, nor that he gave speeches.

He ended the terror of living as a black person, especially in the south.

I’m guessing that most of you, especially those having come fresh from seeing “The Help,” may not understand what this was all about. But living in the south (and in parts of the mid west and in many ghettos of the north) was living under terrorism.

It wasn’t that black people had to use a separate drinking fountain or couldn’t sit at lunch counters, or had to sit in the back of the bus.

You really must disabuse yourself of this idea. Lunch counters and buses were crucial symbolic planes of struggle that the civil rights movement decided to use to dramatize the issue, but the main suffering in the south did not come from our inability to drink from the same fountain, ride in the front of the bus or eat lunch at Woolworth’s.

It was that white people, mostly white men, occasionally went berserk, and grabbed random black people, usually men, and lynched them. You all know about lynching. But you may forget or not know that white people also randomly beat black people, and the black people could not fight back, for fear of even worse punishment.

This constant low level dread of atavistic violence is what kept the system running. It made life miserable, stressful and terrifying for black people.

White people also occasionally tried black people, especially black men, for crimes for which they could not conceivably be guilty. With the willing participation of white women, they often accused black men of “assault,” which could be anything from rape to not taking off one’s hat, to “reckless eyeballing.”

This is going to sound awful and perhaps a stain on my late father’s memory, but when I was little, before the civil rights movement, my father taught me many, many humiliating practices in order to prevent the random, terroristic, berserk behavior of white people. The one I remember most is that when walking down the street in New York City side by side, hand in hand with my hero-father, if a white woman approached on the same sidewalk, I was to take off my hat and walk behind my father, because he had been taught in the south that black males for some reason were supposed to walk single file in the presence of any white lady.

This was just one of many humiliating practices we were taught to prevent white people from going berserk.

I remember a huge family reunion one August with my aunts and uncles and cousins gathered around my grandparent’s vast breakfast table laden with food from the farm, and the state troopers drove up to the house with a car full of rifles and shotguns, and everyone went kind of weirdly blank. They put on the masks that black people used back then to not provoke white berserkness. My strong, valiant, self educated, articulate uncles, whom I adored, became shuffling, Step-N-Fetchits to avoid provoking the white men. Fortunately the troopers were only looking for an escaped convict. Afterward, the women, my aunts, were furious at the humiliating performance of the men, and said so, something that even a child could understand.

This is the climate of fear that Dr. King ended.

So, the next time some Republican starts babbling about “taking America back” and “bringing back our values, etc.” remember-THIS IS WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT. The white man rules and everyone else lives in fear. Is that something we want to go back to? Anyone? Yeah, I thought so. There will be a civil war in this country if the crazy-ass “Christians” ever dare try to institute that bullshit on us again. Count on it.

My grandmother was raised in Arkansas on a working farm. She had to get up at 4 in the morning every day to help her mother with the farm chores. She was the oldest girl in the family, so she couldn’t get out of it.
In those days, EVERYONE worked on the farm. When they said “family farm”, that’s what they meant. The reason why I mention this is because of a poem that my grandmother had framed and hanging in their house-it talked about doing the chores, cooking from scratch, etc. And it ended with this: “The good old days can go to hell.”
Well, the “Good old days” CAN GO TO HELL.

Overconfident? No.

Tuesday, January 17th, 2012

I’ve read some grumping from Talking Points Memo that claims some Obama supporters are “overconfident”. That’s bullshit. If anything, we are realistic. Guys, this is the 2010 elections in California, and Mitt Romney is Meg Whitman-and Obama is Governor Jerry Brown. Meg Whitman was one of the WORST candidates in American political history. She had absolutely NO charisma, and was as stiff as a board in public. Sure, it was her first campaign, but that’s no excuse. Brown let Meg shoot her mouth off and be awkward and stiff in public all the way until a month before Election Day. He then hit Meg with his superior money and his superior politics. Poor Meg didn’t stand a chance. Obama’s going to do the same thing, but he’s going to start a lot earlier than Jerry did. And the Republicans won’t know what hit them.
All the President has to do is keep doing his job while the GOP idiots blabber on about firing “liberal” government officials and making “sodomy” illegal. Even Mittens has pandered to the Cracker Barrel in his party by saying he’d “support man-woman marriage”. Considering his past in Massachuttsets, that’s a rather stupid thing to say.
What we want is a landslide SO crushing that the Republican Party will have to get rid of the Far Right nutbags and shift back to the center. And I believe that’s what is going to happen. Am I going to sit back and think Obama’s got this? No. Why in the hell do you think I have this blog? I’m not stupid. But-I do believe we are on the right track. Watch.
